Eclipses become personally extremely important
when an eclipse creates a close aspect to planets in your natal
(birth) astrology chart. It is important to know your
planetary positions exactly to determine if an eclipse
personally effects you. It is strongly believed that
eclipses of close aspect to a birth chart planet (1-2
degrees or less), can influence events for six months intensely,
and can even effect you for up to 2 years, expressed in your
life by the sign and house in which the eclipse occurs.
Significance of Lunar Eclipses if they aspect your chart:
The energy of the moon is
internal,
maternal, nurturing, and deeply emotional. When a lunar eclipse
occurs, the earth is passing between the Sun and the Moon,
creating a Full Moon just like every other month; however,
during an eclipse the alignment is perfect and the moon is
covered for an hour or more by the shadow of the earth.
Full Moon energy is great, but it is suspended and absent
briefly during the eclipse, therefore the eclipse influences
you with a sense of lack, absence, or withholding. How
that lack or absence is expressed depends totally on the house,
sign, and planetary aspect delineated in your astrological birth
chart. Lunar eclipses typically address relationship and
connection issues with others described by the Moon's
position in your chart. Depending upon your chart,
these issue may take the form of severing, challenges, sudden
mergers, bonding; it is a time to look within, confront our
demons, old habits, fears. Because the Sun and Moon are in
opposing astrological signs, the Sun's position may be expressed
in a release from what holds you back, opportunities for
understanding, finding a balance in your life.
Significance of Solar Eclipses if they
aspect your chart:
The energy of the Sun is
external, paternal, protective, and active. When a solar
eclipse occurs, the Moon is passing between the Earth and the
Sun, creating a New Moon just as in every other month; however,
during a solar eclipse the alignment is perfect and the Sun is
hidden from view for an hour or more. In a total Solar
Eclipse, the intensity of the New Moon is strong because the
Moon is so near to the earth
and because the Sun and Moon are in the same astrological signs,
increasing the focus and intensity of that sign, house, and
planetary aspect and thus the intensity on your life will be
heightened. During the Solar Eclipse the life giving
energy, warmth, and light of the Sun are withheld or suspended
for a brief time and we again experience a lack or
absence, a sense of missing energy. How that is expressed
in your life depends completely upon the house and sign in which
the eclipse occurs, and upon any close planetary aspects that
may also occur.

Eclipse of the Moon,
March 3, 2007;
The first of two total lunar eclipses in 2007 is unique
in that it is partly visible from every continent around
the world. The entire event will be visible from Europe,
Africa and western Asia. In eastern Asia, moonset occurs
during various stages of the eclipse. For example, the
Moon sets while in total eclipse from central China and
southeast Asia. Western Australia catches part of the
initial partial phases but the Moon sets before
totality. Observers in eastern North and South America
will find the Moon already partially or totality
eclipsed at moonrise. From western North America, only
the final penumbral phases are visible.

Eclipse of the
Moon, August 28, 2007: The second
lunar eclipse of the year is another total eclipse. It
is a deeper event since it is the first central total
eclipse since 2000.
All of North America will witness some portion of the
eclipse, but western observers are favored. The early
penumbral or umbral phases will be in progress at
moonset for observers in Maritime Canada. From the
eastern USA, the Great Lakes region and Ontario, the
Moon sets in total eclipse. Only observers to the west
of the Rockies (including Alaska) will be treated to the
entire event. All phases of the eclipse are also visible
from islands of the Pacific Ocean, New Zealand and
eastern Australia. Various stages of the eclipse are in
progress at moonrise for eastern Asia. No eclipse is
visible from Europe, Africa and western Asia.

begins in Guyana at 09:48 UT when the Moon's antumbral
